La performance de Clemente Padín, Sex´n Sex, se ofrecerá en la Colección Engelman Ost de Montevideo, en Rondeau 1426, entre Colonia y Mercedes, el Martes 5 de Agosto de 2008, en el marco de EROTICA RODELU, con la curaduría de Clío Bugel y Fernando López Lage. La muestra se extenderá hasta el 22 de agosto de lunes a viernes de 16 a 19 hs.

Le acompañarán Magela Ferrero (fotografía), Federico Rubio (fotografía), Cecilia Vignolo (fotografía), Carolina Comas (fotografía), Patricia Bentancur (video), Angela López (instalación) , Sergio Porro (pintura), Alejandro Cesarco (vinilo), Carolina Besuievsky (danza) y Silvia Meyer (música).

SEX´n SEX

The Clemente Padín´s performance, Sex´n Sex, will offer in the Collection Engelman Ost of Montevideo, in Rondeau 1426, Mars 5 August,2008, in the frame of EROTICA RODELU, of the curators Clío Bugel and Fernando López Lage. The pattern will extend until August 22, Monday to Friday from 16 to 19 hs.
Magela Ferrero (photography) , Blonde Federico (photography) , Cecilia Vignolo (photography) , Carolina Comas (photography) , Patrician Bentancur (video), Angela López (installation) , Sergio Lummox (painting), Cesarco Alexander (vinyl), Carolina Besuievsky (dance) and Silvia Meyer (music) will accompany Padín.


El punto de partida es el mito de Eros y Psique, como arquetipo colectivo que se manifiesta de múltiples maneras –y siempre, más allá de la especificidad o la conciencia de esa fuerza- en la anecdótica y la creación de los/as artistas contemporáneos. Los rasgos característicos de esta búsqueda – encuentro plagado de dificultades entre el deseo y su concreción o realización en sentido fuerte- son la fugacidad, la intangibilidad y el “anuncio” de la dimensión trascendente y circunstancial que implica la fusión de la divinidad (Eros, hijo de Afrodita) y lo humano (Psique). Precisamente, lo esencial de toda percepción erótica –por oposición al impulso tanático o destructor- es la creación, el proceso vital y vivificante de la creación, artística en este caso.
