International Mother Language Day Art Exhibtion 2009 opened on 20th Feb. 2009 at BILIA Auditorium.

Eminent educationist and advisor of the 1st caretaker government of Bangladesh, Professor Zillur Rahman Siddiqui inaugurated the exhibition as Chief Guest, while Mr. Shankar Nath Rimal, Secretary General of Nepal Art Council, Professor Nazrul Islam, Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Mrs. Sashi Rimal, Major ASM Shamsul Arefin, Mr. Massimo Balleri were present as Special Guests.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Ambassador Waliur Rahman.
