A PLEA TO FORSAKE, 8 was produced by Words of Light International Publishing in Wendell, Massachusetts, USA in August, 2008.Inspired by the life of Paramahansa Yogananda and motivated to create a unifying, meaningful project, I posted an ongoing mail art call in July 2005, calling for all artists’ works to express for all nations to forsake “the negatives”.The spectacle of human’s destructive fury against themselves and their achievements continues in the forms of: war; race hatred; religious sectarianism; and boomerang evils of materialism.This eighth and final edition holds the consciousness of 11 artists from Germany, Greece, Italy, Uruguay, and USA. A numbered, signed, and dated color printed, small hidden-book structure artist book is reserved for each contributing artist.
