William Cullen Bryant Homestead in Cummington, Massachusetts. Poet Bryant penned "Thanatopsis", was a lawyer, and editor-in-chief of The New York Post. The panoramic view of the Bershires from his home is breathtaking. His home and surrounding fields, woods, and meadows are open to the public.
