Dear friends,
the art have been a part of the Olympic Games since ancient times. The ancient Greecs were able to find the proper balance bertween art and sport.
Now, in Beijing, there is Olympic Fine Arts 2008 event, it has been designed to extend the spirit of the games, in words of Baron de Coubertin: "Art, science and sports are the basic factor of peace, which is the main idea of Olympic".
The committee has invited up to 300 celebrated artists from around the world. I´m one of them. I´m very prond to be one of the selected. This time my work is not mail art, but computer art, digital print on canvas. I´ll be in Beijing for some days and be present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition in Forbidden City.
