Nixe-Polena dell’Adriatico” PreludeOn Sunday, March 15th, 2009, at 5 p. m. on the occasion of the closing of the happening d’arte “rosa!”, at the Gallery of the Associazione culturale Anfora, in Terzo di Aquileia, Laura Cristin, performer and painter of Bagnaria Arsa (Udine), in collaboration with Ruediger Abshalom D. Westphal, artist from Euskirchen (Germany), will make the performance “Nixe-Polena dell’Adriatico” as a Prelude of a first experimental and ‘ephemeral’ creation of a figurehead of the Adria, that is one of the main themes of interest of Carmelo Contin, director of Anfora Association. Cristin, just back from Germany, where as guest of the FzkkE association of Ruediger Westphal, from February 14th to March 6th, had the opportunity to develop her artidentity of Sheren (a more human siren, as one can guess from the she) into the shades of Nixe (most common term for Siren in German).
